Borghetto, a hamlet of Valeggio sul Mincio located along Mincio river, is an ancient small village of mills dated 1400.
The structures characterising this marvellous landscape are the Bridge Visconteo, the fortified dam built in 1393 according to Visconti’s will, The Scaligero Castle, dominating the Mincio valley from the top of the hill and the Church of San Marco Evangelista built in 1759 in neoclassicism style.
Several are the typical products of the place, from Tortellini of Valeggio, to the fish second courses, as barracuda with sauce, trout and eel, to the Registered Designation of Origin wines.
